My Priorities for District 6

Good government isn't complicated. It's a handful of things done well and out in the open. Here's where I'll focus.

Fair, understandable property assessments

This is the issue that broke trust in Jackson County, and it's the one I hear about most. You should never get an assessment you can't make sense of, can't easily challenge, or can't square with what your home is actually worth. I'll push for an assessment process that's consistent, transparent, and accountable, so the next reassessment doesn't blindside families the way the last one did. 〔Add Bill's specific position here — e.g., support for an independent review, a clear appeals timeline, or a cap proposal. Public safety, backed by real support

Roads and infrastructure that get maintained

Anyone who's run equipment knows the rule: a small repair you handle now is cheaper than the breakdown you'll pay for later. The same is true of roads, bridges, and county facilities. Economic growth that pays off for residents

When local businesses grow, the county gets jobs and a broader tax base, which takes pressure off everyone else. I'll support responsible development that strengthens District 6 without sticking taxpayers with the costs of growth that wasn't planned for.

You earned the money. You're entitled to know how it's spent. I'll work for a county budget that's open, plainly explained, and free of the surprises that erode trust. Accountability isn't a threat to good government. It's the whole point of it.
